Recycled high-density polyethylene (rHDPE) is an environmentally friendly material derived from repurposed post-consumer or post-industrial LLDPE plastic waste. It is sometimes called "alkaline" or "polythene" for HDPE pipes. With a high strength-to-density ratio, rHDPE produces plastic bottles, corrosion-resistant piping, geomembranes, and plastic lumber.
