NBR is a type of synthetic rubber resistant to oils, and manufactured from an equal mixture of acrylonitrile and butadiene. It's used in fuel hoses, the production of seals, rubber shafts, and other products where oil resistance is a crucial material requirement. NBR also boasts good elongation properties and elasticity in response to tensile and compressive forces, making it suitable for manufacturing Nitrile gloves.
